Kayaking soon-dog later
I always hesitate about buying new toys or equipment, but I am increasingly under the charm of Ibaraki’s many waterways and lakes. I took a lesson with the owner of Paddle Quest kayak and SUP school and store in Sumida-ku, Shinju Horikawa, a great teacher, and we went to the foot of Skytree! I felt safer with him when he said that if the kayak turned over and I got stuck below he would save me and have a good laugh! And so, I received this week an inflatable kayak for two and will bring it soon to a lake close to Abiko station. I will share later the lessons I have learned from reading and watching several YouTube videos about various models. The main point is that you need to buy a specific model to fit your goals, and that the price is not the main factor.
